LED License Bulbs...best cheap mod ever

Got my license LEDs today from VLEDS and couldn't wait until tonight to try them out. I gotta say these are the coolest looking bulbs and are a cheap way to make your runner look even better.

I agree that they make a big difference.

I can't figure out why Vleds white LEDs aren't really white, but more of a blue color.

they are pretty darn white. that first picture makes them look really blue but they aren't really in person

Those look sweet. Can you post a link or let me know where you found them. I did the 06 LED tail light swap this afternoon and was thinking about upgrading the license plate bulbs as well.

haha I should have known Fosheezy had a hand in this. The swap went well, it is an easy plug and play set up. I will post some pics when I get the bumper fixed. Thanks for the info.

vleds cost to much, superbrightleds are alot cheaper, but then agin i use them for interior light, piaa xtreme white on all parking and signal and reverse light

Trust me they are really white, the camera makes them look blue.

I've had those PIAA bulbs before, big mistake. The blue coating on the bulb will eventually flake off and you'll have yourself a stock looking bulb. I use to have them as my license tag bulbs & corner lights back in the days. v-leds is definitely the best place to buy from, the quality is really good and most bulbs you get two for $10 and then won't go dead in a week or two like Auto-luminations bulbs. Never tried Super Bright LEDs, so I can't say anything about them.

i had some leds from v leds and they didnt last too long, 3 months tops on these dome light and then it started to dim out, so i had to repair it myself and just threw it in my computer .
also i have been gettin my leds from superbrightleds map light and the light for the door is all 168, i got that wled-xhp6 u will need 6 of those, also u can order like 10 or 12 so u can put it as parking and license place light,

Ah ok, yeah many LED sites are offering many different types of white LEDs, like cool white, warm white, & regular white. I believe cool is leaning towards the blueish tint side & warm has more of a yellow tint. I got the regular white which is in the middle, basicly pure white.

The lights in the link above are listed at having a Color Temperature or 8000-9500 Kelvin, that would produce a blue tinted light.

5000 Kelvin would be pure white.

Maybe it was these at 6500-7500?

Very nice GOH10! They look awesome, glad to see you took the plunge. Personally, I will never go back to stock bulbs of the non-led variety. These are just too-cheap and too nice-looking to pass up.

so i went all over to see if i can find some licence plate LED's i also searched here and could't find anyhthing but seems in how the stock licence plate bulb is a 2825 is it? does that meant i have to look for that same number code for the led's? im allllll confused on these led's. excited to get em all in though!!

V-leds has the bulbs. I believe they are 194's.

oh nice, ya its crazy there are no number codes even close to that in some of the shops ive been in, ill look for 194's though cause im pretty sure ive seen those, if not there ill check out vleds thanks!

194's and 2825's are the same. 194 has several different other numbers that it goes by and they are all the same bulb.
