LED light bars on road

Are you stupid?

Are you an ass?

Does your unclebrother who did the install not understand electricity?

Are they wired to your headlights?

Seriously, this is some kind of epidemic in NW Florida.

Was being followed by this blinding supernova on the way to work today, turned out to be a Cheby brodozer with a light bar melting the paint off of everyone's tailgates and retinas.

I see plenty of idiots with theirs on during the day and into the early evenings. But everyone I've seen is on a Jeep. Go figure. Jeep. The new Honda Civic.

I've noticed the same trend lol. Always a Jeep or some Chevy with an eBay special, full blast, INSTEAD of their actual headlights :clap2:

Things like this are reasons why I wish there were vehicle inspections in Florida so these lazy wired nightmares would get failed. If he was in a bro-dozer then at least your Runner is tall enough not to be bothered by him rolling coal on you (I assume diesel, could be wrong).

They have custom grilles and cutout bumpers for lifted GM's around here.

People stuff light bars in them.

Maybe they didn't get the memo that their daily commute to work is, in fact, not SEMA

This epidemic is country wide. I saw it in Colorado all the time, and I'm seeing it in Montana as well. Usually the massive f350/3500 mall crawlers. Although sometimes it's something totally random. Worst yet was a Volvo S60R with a bar on the roof just cruising along middle of the day blinding all the people.

I don't regret my lightbar at all, but I take it into the desert and also for work when we need light for packing up camera gear. But when I need multiple bars on trucks that don't look like they ever go off road I sort of get saddened.

Some guy was flashing me with his dual bars a few weeks back, knock off Chinese models, and passed me, then flashed his rears. I was so tempted to fire back with my rigid 40" light bar but realized I don't wear a flat brimmed hat or drink red bull. So I didn't.

Last year I had a jeep following me on I-25 in Colorado with his light bar on for a few miles....I was pissed at how bright that thing was.

Made my day, right before my exit State Trooper pulled him over. I wished I'd had my rear camera already installed so I could've shared.

99% of the time I have seen it here it's been a Ford Raptor.

Mine are independent, there have been two times in the past few years I've needed to "signal" a ricer going the same direction as me. A quick flash from behind usually lets them know they are doing something really stupid.

Extra lights are rather rare around here - Nevadans don't have to show off - And nobody else around to show off to -

It's only a Las Vegas thing - - - -

I use my light bar and ditch lights when cruising down the road, but I live way out in the middle of nowhere and there isn't anyone else to blind. I like to see the cows, javelina or coyotes I'm about to hit.
