Just thought I would share this to help inform others that might be shopping around for LED's.
I purchased some LED's from autolumination.com for my instrument panel a couple months ago. I installed them and they worked great for about a week. The LED behind the tach started to flash on and off and then died. The LED behind the speedo followed suit about a week later.
I know that it isn't due to a poor connection as there is still a faint glow about them. I'd say about 5% brightness of the full potential.
In all fairness, autolumination said that they would replace them if I sent them back. I asked if they could send me some new bulbs first and that I would send the bad ones back so I would only have to remove my instrument panel once as opposed to twice. They said "no," which is understandable from a business perspective.
I chose not to send them back as it's not worth $15 to have to remove my instrument panel twice. I'd rather just buy some LED's elsewhere.
So with all that being said, what are some reputable sites that provide quality LED's?
