LED tails

Well I just took the plunge and ordered a set of the red OEM type ones.

I cannot wait... im so eager... haha.

My question:
Does anyone know where they ship from? I just wanna get a clue as to shipping time...

I had to pay CA sales tax along with it so im assuming in CA?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and was doing some research on the led tail lights.
I was thinking of purchasing a set from Sabersport.

Are you happy with the quality? Was the install simple?

Thanks in advance for your help...:)

Yeah, they are pretty good quality.

Install isn't too bad, but it's not super easy either. You must remove some trim pieces and pull back on the side panel in the rear to access the grounding point and wiring harness.

Well when they come in tomorrow I will be sure to give you my input. Many of the guys on here have them already, I'm sure they'll page in soon.

From the looks of it, I am already satisfied, but only time will tell.

I should video the whole process so you can see it, it's really not that hard.

They're in! I've made an install video for them, I will post a link when it's uploaded. Until then, some pics:

You are going to love them at night. Wicked bright.

One added feature is the backup and turn signal lights are much brighter than the frosted OEM lenses.

very nice!
haha thank you guys! you were definitely right.

I will be looking into some clear corners, bumpers, and tint now since you guys always seemed to mention those. Tint will be in order too.

I will get some night photos as soon as it is dark and post them. My video is uploading as we speak so whoever wants to see how they are installed can see.

The OEM style look really good.
The little LED side marker is a sweet feature too.

If you guys are looking to smoke any lenses, this is the best stuff there is. It just tints them and sprays on the outside.
VHT Window Tint

The Night Shades is too dark IMO.

No problem, I made the video for anyone who needs it. It seems I've already gotten a few messages and such from people. Glad to be of help.

On another note, you were not kidding at all when you said these are bright.

Not kidding at all.

I forgot to take some running light pics (I was all caught up in how insanely bright they were) but I got some awesome photos of my neighbors house glowing xD so I had to run back out

When they're just on as running lights, they're not much brighter than normal, which is good. I'd say they're not even as bright as the rear fog light option on my mercedes (makes the tails brighter). Once you hit those brakes though, someone could never dare to say they didn't know you were going to stop. In fact, they might be convinced their car is on fire or that it is the apocalypse.

Ha i love it. If you've been thinking it's not worth it, you don't know what you're missing. Hell, they're worth the initial giddiness of seeing how bright they really are.

damn, they loook sooooooo good on your 4rnr, your car is soo frikin clean. think about debadging it. it would look a little cleaner.

Is yours Desert Dune? If so then I do. :)

Would smoked or OEM-esque LED tails look better on a silver 4runner? I am thinking the red ones will, although seeing clemson's 4Runner, smoked looks pretty legit on light colored trucks. I cracked a tail light while replacing the bulb, so I figured I would order a set of LED's to replace them instead
