LEDs are sick!

Just finished switching most of my lights to LEDs. Switched accessory, map, cargo, running board, license plate all over!

Going for glove box, drink holders, and rear door lights next.

Am I going overboard?

Rice, that looks great. Where did you get that done? I would love to do that and get the white / blue lexus style gauge lights.

Did not do that yet! Are those single Diode bulbs?

its all 3mm leds, u have to take apart the controls and then you desolder the stock led out and resolder the new leds of the color u want.

also the climate control use neo3 size to light up the wording on the controls, u need 4.

i have no soldering skillz . One of these years, i'll be the only one stuck with orange.

its easy, just tap to heat, then remove and tap again to reheat if stuck, then make sure its in the right way and solder, then test to make sure it works.

So I'm to understand that the main HVAC unit in these pics can be changed from amber? I'm looking to go with a red look in mine. Also, what about the 4WD selector switch?

Somebody else has done the blue LED's. I can't remember who it was or what board it was on though.

They did everything, dash, controls, radio, cup holders and the display. They noted that the 4wd switch was a little hard to get the LEDs angled just right and I believe the needles on the gauges were a little tough to get just right. I plan on doing this one day.
