I have a 2004 Sport Edition All Wheel Drive. Lately there is a noise coming from what appears to be the left front suspension area. As road speed increases, so does the speed of the noise. When turning right, the body roll seems to make the noise louder. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this?

Did you ever figure this problem out? Is it like a ticking sound coming from the left tire? I have the same thing and it's driving me insane. It only starts happening after 100Kms/hr speeds and gets louder on right turns.
Anyone out here know. These types of problems can cost a fortune to figure out. I have a 04 V6 t4r SR5

My '04 started making a ticking noise from the left front several months ago. At first I though it was a rock stuck in the tread, but after cleaning them all out it was still there and I was baffled. Checking the suspension and drivetrain parts everything seemed in order so I just lived with it. It really was most apparent when driving near something that produced an echo back to the car and it seemed to get louder when turning right. The noise was comparative to a kid running down a fence with a stick.
Well today I found the problem... a loose wheel weight. It was moving on the wheel about 1/4" back and forth and up and down and thats what was making the noise. I took it off rebent the hook and reinstalled it for a tight fit and the noise is all gone now.
Unfortunately it did wear the finish off the wheel a bit, but what are ya gonna do.
