left front strut went out :(

my left front strut went out. any suggestions as to what i should do?

Gonna need more info than that before making any suggestions. What type of suspension do you have (regular or XREAS)? That'll determine what you do. Do you off road at all, or strictly on road? If you're going to get new shocks all around, what's your budget?

i have regular suspension. i do go off road every once in awhile, just a few trails here and there, but i do a lot of driving on the highway. i have the daystar budget boost leveling kit on right now. I don't want to do anything crazy expensive, so something right in the middle would be fine.

If your on a budget, the Bilstein 5100's are a great way to go. I'm still waiting on ORW on eBay to accept my offer (offered $300). You can "buy it now" for $369 with free shipping. That's a good deal in my eyes.

If you want a better ride, you may also want to look into FJ coils. A ton of people on this forum have done the swap and it's motivated me to try it. I already have my coils, purchased them from a user on the FJ forum. Just waiting on my Billies. Ark Swamp Rider has a spreadsheet going with lift numbers from other users. I think I look at it daily! I can't wait to do my swap...

You wont need the leveling kit anymore if you get 5100's, they are adjustable and can be adjusted to the same height as your leveling kit.
