i have a 1987 4runner no lift, just leaf spring helpers in the rear. i wana put 35's on it but im not sure if i'll need a lift or not. let me know what you think. thanks.
left needed for tires?? please help.

i believe 31 is the highest you can go without rubbing... you may be able to get away with 33s for city but once you hit steep angles and hills the articulation will cause rubbing. im very certain you cannot go with 35s with stock suspsension.
also... 35s are going to be very very slow in terms of acceleration. have you changed your gearing? iven if youve got the more uncommon 4.88 factory gearing its still not ideal for 35s... although much better than if your on the more standard and common 4.1 factory gearing.
