Length of rear UCAs

Hi

My rear UCAs are badly rusted and the bushes look bad. I've got a JDM Hilux Surf 2.7 and the rear UCAs (48710-35020) are unique to this model; the diesel Hilux Surfs and the North American 4WD 4Runners all have the same part number (48710-35040) which is different from mine.

Now I suspect I can use the diesel / US UCAs, as the frame and axle should be the same, but I want to check. I've tried ordering the correct parts but they are out of stock at Toyota, only 48710-35040 is available at present.

Could anyone check and measure a rear UCA, if they have one off the vehicle??

Mine measure 298 mm from bush to bush (see picture)

Would be very grateful indeed if someone could give me the measurement of theirs (from a 4WD 3rd Gen).

I just measured mine and got 11.75" or 298mm. I have a set for sale if you are interested.

Sorry that I haven't replied sooner, thank you very much for measuring your UCA. Happily, I managed to order new ones from Japan a few weeks back; they're now fitted to the truck.

Does make me wonder if these are the same length as those used on all other 4WD 3rd Gens, why they have a different part number....
