Hi yall. im new to the site and just picked up my first 4runner about a month ago. its a 91 sr5 3.0 auto with a 4" trailmaster lift and 33x12.5. the truck has 250000 miles on it but it has around 90000 on a rebuilt motor.
Well it turns out that i effing love this truck!!! im from everett, WA and have seen a few other lifted runners tooting around here and i was interested in some sort of a meet and greet. i would love to do some sort of wheeling with a few other yotas around here. im new to 4wheeling and have no idea where to go except reeders pit and i heard that its closed so thats not an option. so if your interested in showing me a place to go thats reasonably close then write to me and lets set something up. thanks to all again for the warm welcome to the site!

Is Reeder just closed for the season or did they permanently close it? I haven't bashed in years, and really don't care to anymore.. It actually wouldn't surprise me if they closed it for good, we used to yell ourselves hoarse up there from all of the idiots trying to weasel around and make shortcuts with their BS rigs that shouldn't have even left a driveway. Worst I ever saw was this jackass on a quad trailblazing, so we yell at the guy and tell him why he shouldn't do that...so he flips us off and starts doing doughnuts in every spot he can find that he could tear up....

Walker valley still might be a choice if that isn't closed for good yet, otherwise head out east to Naches, excellent trails that won't take most of your body panels off for you. Reeder on the other hand with trail names like B.Y.S. (Beat your Sh%&) you will not escape without busted glass and mangled fenders/bedsides.

Hi! I am new to the site (and 4runners) also. I too live in Everett. I am going to lift my 2000 T4r soon and will be looking for some wheeling spots. I took my 07 out the the Scenic Loop Highway out and around Mt. Baker, and there is a few logging trails you can drive up. It's definatly nothing serious as there was a Honda Element coming down one as I was going up, lol. I would be down for a meet and greet. The PacNW thread on this forum has been dead for years.

actually there's more on the coast than just reiter and walker valley. there is also Elbe and Tahuya.

Naches can be tricky in places....it will take body panels off CJ's and TJ's, i've found that cherokee's and TR's will have issues due to the body length. At least on the chinook side...now if you go over and actually play at rimrock you have some wider trails to run.
 
ya, i heard that reeder is closed for good since they found that dead girl up there. these other places sound nice except for taking off body panels lol. but i have no idea where these places are? can any one give me a basic idea of the locations?
 
Elbe would probably be the closest. Tahuya is a lil more of a drive but really pretty.......and unless u have the pass thing u gotta pay at the bridge coming back over.

There are two different sections to Naches....you have the chinook pass area, then you have the Rimrock area on white pass.

I've seen people playing up on the chinook pass area of Naches....just ask on the PNW4WDA website for some help...theres several different jeep clubs who sponsor that area.

if you want some good info.....they arent TR4 sites, they are jeep sites, but they have good info. pnwjeep.com and naxja.org. theres a whole lot of seattle/tacoma folks who can point you in the right direction.
