Lets get some opinions on rims..

All right. So ive been thinking and cant decide if I should kep my 5 star rims or get some all black steel rims. I like both alot and cant really decide what to do. The main reason I was going to go to black steel is to eliminate the wheel spacer but Im not 100% sure on what size to get. Ive been told 3.75 bs but cant really find any. If you an find those in all black steel in 16x8 pleasse post em up. Much appreciated!

Personal opinion? That tire / rim combo looks great! The black steel rims look cheap to me.
The rims on your truck are the best 'Yota rim, next to the sweet ones that come on the Tundra's ( can't remember the trim package name ).

But, that's just me talkin...

Of course, I would have put the raised white letter showing if they came on that tire

Agree! I also like the OEM alloys my 2000 SR5 has.

I like the oem I actually had some black rims before but traded for these and got some cash but Im always changing it up and kinda want some black steels. I went to tire discounters today and I like the outlaw 2 in black and silver. There alloy thought. Kinda wanting steel.

Why do you want steel rims? I don't know the exact model you're looking at, but any steel rim will weigh a lot more than the nice stock alloys.

Handling and acceleration will definitely suffer.

My opinion - keep the OEM ones - they look great.

For black steelies I really like the Cragar Soft 8's (without center caps), and for OEM style rims I think that the new Trail Edition FJ rims in black would look awesome. This is just a photoshop, black rims have black faux beadlocks, and the gold ones have a silver faux beadlock. A red beadlock would look so nice. But that is probably more work than youre looking for

I was actually wanting to add a rock ring to the steel rims if I did get them. I've looked at the cragar's buy can't find them with 3.75 or 3.50 backspacing.

Im about to just give up and keep the OEM's. I cannot for the life of me find 16x8 with 3.75 bs'ing. Idk how these other people are running 35's with no spacer.

I just bought a set of 94 LC wheels. I finished painting them on Sat. They are a charcoal metallic and match the flares of my runner. I can get better pics I only had my phone where I was painting.

I vote to keep the 5 spokes you have now. They look great with those tires on your rig!!

Ive thought about the lc rims or even the lx 450 rims. Whats the backspacing on the rims?

The back spacing on the LC rims are 4.5". It pushes the wheel out an inch so it lines up perfectly the limited flares. No more sucked in look. I know they clear the UCA's with 285's with no spacer. Not sure on bigger sizes.

These 5 stars use to fit with my old 285's. Theres no way the 315's would fit. The lc rims im assuming would be the same way. I didnt think it would be so hard to find rims.
