I am thinking of getting a 4runner this color and just wanted to see some pics of other 4runners this color.

I will snap a pic or two of mine and post them tomorrow, but I would avoid this color like sweet death.
Usually colors grow on an owner with time; not this one though by a long shot.

really? It's my favorite color on runners. I also like the power blue color and the blurple one, too. Maybe I'm just a strange one.

Glacier Metallic I believe that powder blue color is called. I like that too, don't like the blurple one at all. I can only guess Autumn Blaze is that orangish, brownish color, sort of like the GM full size trucks?

Here's mine, 99' Limited Autumn Blaze Metallic w/ Topaz Metallic Cladding. I didn't know what to think of the color when I first bought it, but now love it! You really need to see it on a bright sunny day to appreciate the color, you can see how much the color changes depending on the light.

Ya I defiantly am. The guy I sold my 4runner to sold it to some kid that lived right down the street from me in Houston so I had to deal with seeing everyday which made me regret selling it even more! Hopefully by this weekend I will have another 99 4x4

I too tend to appreciate the unusual colors like Autumn Blaze more than the common colors. That color is quite rare too, since they offered 4Runners in that color in 1999 only. Good luck with your search!

I love the way the autumn blaze looks in those pics, just id imagine itd be hard to find a 4x4. i got a white one. but i dont think white is bad, but i do like the autumn blaze and red though

The Autumn Blaze has always been my favorite color. I looked long time for a used 4Runner that color before finally buying my silver 4Runner.

I love it! I think Dirtco's looks awesome. I love the Glacier Metallic too. I have Desert Dune, which I think is probably the most popular color on 3rd Gens, I swear every other one I looked at was this color. Not my favorite but it's a solid truck.

Nah, I would say more of a fancy name for orange.
Anthracite Metallic, Now THATS a fancy name for brown (though still my favorite 3rd gen color)

Agree with Pitbull, everwhere I look I see Desert Dune.
Oh well, I've never purchased a "used" vehicle based on color. Always bought the best condition I could find. Although, I think I avoid some colors...

Funny thing is, When I was looking for my LTD. All I found was white/silver for months!!! Then a DDM turned up and BAM!!! within 10 minutes of the posting I called on it and he said, "I literally, JUST posted it about 10m ago" so if anything you have first dibs. I said hold it for me I am coming to buy it. :banana:

Funny you say that, I bought mine the same way. I was looking all over, I actually had Craigslist up at work and hit refresh. There it was. I wasn't looking for Desert Dune but it was priced so much lower than every other one listed. I tried to go look at it that day but the guy had it at his workshop and had left for the day. Met him 8 am the next day and it was mine.

Well, hopefully if we ever buy another one, it will definitely be an Autumn Blaze Metallic or that Burgundy two tone LTD. (Can't recall the name right now). Of course I would like to think I can find either of them and it to be a deal as fast as my DDM :jump:
