all right 4runner owners, let's see a pic of your lifted 4runners with big tires. i haven't seen that many on here and i'm sure everyone on this forum likes to see our rigs on steroids.

check out this runner i came across on yotatech.

that 2nd gen 4runner is real. its not photoshopped. theres a whole entire build up thread on pirate4x4.com. its pretty cool to look at and think about, but in reality that truck is pretty worthless. look at where the wheels sit compared to the fenders. theres no flex room at all. but still cool looking nontheless.
 
it has an air suspension that is fully deflated there. it will rise higher when inflated, so its not 'worthless' at all.

its an expedition rig anyway.

your rig is the sickest 4runner i've ever seen. do you use it as a daily driver (drive at least 4 times a week)? do you have any engine mods?

Thanks :) It is a Daily Driving vehicle but it's currently sitting at home. Since my new job my commute went from 8 miles one way to 38 miles so it's staying home until I move. Luckily I have an economical car that I can drive so I've been driving that for awhile.

Engine is stock. The only mod I have is an internal snorkel that works well so far. Everything else is stock. No SC/intake/exhaust/headers. Actually I'm missing the exhaust... lol Still gotta work on that one I guess.

This rig will not be for speeding so I'm not really concerned about hp performance. more torque the better though :)

Edit: I do drive it on the weekends when I need to make some quick errands. Gotta get it out on the road once in awhile ;)

its not "completely" worthless, i just meant for like rock crawling or mudding. i didnt know that the inflators were down tho. i bet the tires and wheel wells look a lot better once its picked up. i agree with you on the expedition aspect, he metioned that as being what he built it for. i bet that would sweet for stuff like that.

well they are 33`s running a 2.5" cornfed lift, with a 1" body lift, it works, for now, lol
 
that would be cool if toyota would do a retro version of the runner like they are doing one for the landcruiser. make a 4runner with a removeable or retractable top like the 1st gens.

Those tires are really huge... but the most interesting thing I mentioned on this truck is not the tires, its lights. Yes lights look careful and will see Hella Rally 4000 HID lights on the brush guard. Those lights are not cheap, ~$900 each + wiring at my local store. This owner really like his truck, if he puts such lights on it.

Nice pics guys, lifted 4R's with big meats > lowered with bling bling rapper wheels anyday of the week :cool:
