2000 19’ Nomad - just completely renovated the inside. Tows pretty good with stabilizer hitch but could use some airbags to level things out. The manual 5 speed really helps maintain RPM and torque.
Haven’t tackled any big mountains yet just desert in AZ. But looking forward to the mountains.

Just got this last month. Our own personal 3900 lb. mobile Hotel room/Kitchen/Bathroom. Was going to wait for retirement, but as we speak the wife is trying to claw her way out of the house, so...

Nice combo. Can't go wrong with air bags when it comes to leveling the truck with the tongue weight.
It’s a SoCal Teardrop; the 459 Krawler. And I love it! Perfect set up for two people to be comfortable for days.

This is an M101a2 army trailer, I picked it up on a government auction several years ago. I had to drive from Colorado to Arkansas to pick it up, but it only cost me $475 to purchase.
I havent done that much to it really. I really wanted to keep the utilitarian nature of it intact, as I dont have a pickup truck. Plus, I already have a nice family camping tent (10 person) and all the gear. The trailer really gives us a way to haul everything we need for a plush camping experience!
I sanded and removed all the rust that I could find, then painted the entire thing with rustoleum implement paint. I brushed the frame and underneath with matte black, and then used gloss Smoke Gray, cut with enough acetone to work through a HVLP gun to spray the tub.
I put in a Bed Rug bed liner, made some bows out of 3/4" conduit, and had a place in Denver that makes custom boat covers make the black canvas cover for it. All in all, I probably have 2 grand into the whole thing. I love it, its bulletproof, and tows really well.

2016 Trail Premium towing a 2021 Coleman Lantern LT 17B. Only 3500 at most. Tows great with the proper hitch and brake controller set up. Just gotta keep the 4Runner transmission in manual gear 4. Otherwise it’s too gutless staying in 5th.
