Lets talk HIDs

Firstly, I want to black out my headlights. And I want to change all my interior lights from the orange to white. While I'm at it, why not change my headlights to the bright white as well.

I don't know much about HIDs, but I do know that the higher the number the more colored they are or something. I want a pure bright white headlight. I have heard that it should be somewhere between 4000-4500 for that.

Anyone have more experience and could shed some light on it for me? I don't know which ones to go with.
