Come spring I will be due for some new rubber. I don't get out offroading as much as I would like, I commute about 20-30 miles a day mostly highway but I'm not opposed to a nice mud terrain. I may keep stock sizing (30"?) or step up a size. I would like a nice all terrain reasonably priced. I always had bfg a/ts but I kinda want to try something different. I was even looking at mastercrafts haha. I would LOVE some bfg mt km2s but im not about to spend 240 a tire or whatever they go for. Suggestions?

I just put on some 265/70/17 Erated duratracs and absolutly love them. I do my fair share of driving offroad nothing serious but enough to appreciate a good tire. I also drive on average about 20-30 miles a day and the tires do not bother me abit, and that's with the radio off. The best part besides the offroad performance is that the tire looks great perfect blend of mud and all-terrain.

I am sporting the Kumho Road Venture AT. Thay balance well, ride smooth, not noisy, and look good. Cost about $600 if I remember correctly. I also commute to work 29miles one way. The tires have performed well offroad. Though nothing major(rock crawling, mudbogging, etc.).

Hey, don't wanna start a new thread and just figured I'd ask real quick.

I'm assuming 285/75/16 tires cannot fit without rubbing on a 99 limited with stock ride right correct?

I have a line on some Terra Graplers for a good deal but I don't see a lift in the near future so I won't grab em if they'll rub.

Im going to try a 255/70/17 soon. Alittle taller then stock , but hopefully wont kill my 4cyl . And maybe mileage should stay the same.

Anyone running this size ?

I love my duratracs and with the snow we had down here in the south the performed way better than I thought.

When I need new ones I am getting them again.

hb some nitto terra grapplers?
btw. is that paramore lead singer in ur avatar?
never heard of em, yes it is im unhealthily obsessed with her
Stock tire size is about 31", I would recommend getting 32"s cause they look better and I regret not getting them, but its your choice.

Anyway

These are very popular tires here
Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac

These are also very nice
Cooper Tires DISCOVERER STT LT265/75R16 OWL 123Q

So are these:
BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2

And these:
Kumho Road Venture MT KL71
i always get confused, what is a 32" tire for our trucks, 275 70 16?

Go to discounttire.com and check out the new hankook dynapro at/m. Newer tire with great reviews also look at the Yokohama at/s great snow tire. Anything with a "LT" rating will have an additional 1/4" of tread over just a "standard load (p-rated)" FYI
