absolutely tackle it yourself, look at is as an adventure. there isn't anything that is particularly difficult about putting on the spacer lift (i assume you're getting the spacers that go onto of the assembly vs inside the spring setup) a set of simple hand tools, floor jack, jack stands, vocabulary of swear words, case of beer and box of bandaids and you should be able to knock it out in a few hours.
really all you're looking at doing is unbolting the wheel, unbolting the sway bar end link, unbolting the upper control arm from the knuckle (get yourself a new pair of cotter pins). removing the shock/coil assembly - then installing the spacer onto and replacing and reversing the previous process.
afterwards it would probably be a good idea to get an alignment and you'll be good to go.
