Leveling my T4R?

Alright, so I put an OME kit on my 4WD, and then a CBI front bumper:

Front: OME 881
Rear: OME 890

I had a bit of rake after the settling of the springs that is now exaggerated with the bumper. I like the height of the rear but would like another 3/4" or inch to level the front without making the ride harder.

I'd like to change as little as possible to keep the $ down but not make the ride harsher on road (which it still is - even with medium springs. The options I've seen while searching is add a spacer up front, swap everything up front to tundra/bilsteins.

Would the tundra's be too soft and cause an imbalance with my OME rears?

Would a front spacer make the ride noticeably harder?

I typically sit with about 50 Lbs in the rear, slightly more when camping...But not a heavy load.

A 1" spacer up front won't affect the ride quality too noticeably with fresh springs

890s are good for standard weight rears, 891s are good for +200/300 lbs in the rear

Have you thrown spacers on?

I have 891's sitting in my place in case I get an offroad bumper/more gear. But without the weight they ride like hell.

Go with a 1" spacer. I run 881 with ome shocks and 1" preload spacer. It stiff but not that bad. Winch really softened it up.

What's your rear setup? I've heard the tundra/5100s give a full 3" vs the OME 2-2.5"

Which shocks are you running in the rear? I have the 60027 and am thinking about going to the medium of soft shock since I rarely have more than 100lbs in the back.

Toytec NGTR-4R shocks and a longer rear brake hose, for peace of mind

They said I could keep the stock shocks and brake hose with 890s but whatevs

I run 1" Lift Sleeves. They are physically 1/2".

Newbee here - but I put a used set of 891 springs in the back on my 2002 - went from 20.25" hub to fender to 23.5" hub to fender. Up front I put a daystart 1" spacer and went from 20" to 22" up front. Looks killer in my opinion and rides great. 891s look and feel kick a$$ compared to whatever garbage was in before. Stiff but truck like and solid. BEST PART? I love it and will never worry about sag again :whipping2

I got them from sonoron steel. Instead of a big top spacer is a small sleeve that is installed at the bottom of the coil. They work like a preload top spacer. He doesn't offer them anymore I dint believe.

Does anyone know of a 0.5" spacer that equals 1" of lift? Seems like toytec adds 0.5"-0.75" of lift, meaning its probably a 0.25" spacer, and the smallest I can find, outside of that, is a 0.75" spacer for a 1.5" lift.

881 coils with the toytec .75in spacer nets 3" lift. The 881 coils give 2.5" front lift alone.

All info I've found states the lift is double the measurement of the spacer. From experience the 881's net about 2.5 inches of lift. The toytec spacer is probably a .25 inch spacer since it nets about half an inch of actual lift. I'm looking for a little more, hence trying to find a middle ground between that and a daystar 0.75 spacer... which would have my front sitting 1.5 inches higher....one full inch higher than my rears. :redbrick:
