Leveling the wifes 4runner.

Hi guys the wife wants to make her 4runner look a little beefier. Level out the front and a little bigger all terrains. What is the best way to bring up the front? We also thought about taking the running boards off. If anyone has some good pics she could see that would also be great. Thanks for any advice.

If your shocks and springs are still in good shape you could do a simple leveling with a set of spacers up front. If you are ready for some new shocks you could replace them with the Bilstein 5100s. With this setup you can level the truck without the use of a spacer. There are lots of threads on here about both options.

The cheapest route would be the Daystar spacers. You can either get just the leveling front spacers or you can go up a little with the 2.5/1.5 front and rear spacers. The front and rear spacers will allow you to go up a tire size. Those are good options if you have the Xreas suspension and want to keep it. If you are going to be doing a lot of off roading I would go with the Bilteins

But for sure take the running boards off!
