That is very good question, to which I don't know the answer, but would like to know. I would venture a guess and say they wouldn't, but some things will swap between the two. I don't think I've come across anyone asking this question yet; at least the 'Search' will doubtfully yield any results. Hopefully someone will know the answer.
I guess it all depends on how much money or time you want to invest whether you want to paint the black mirrors or get the GX or factory painted mirrors. From the pictures I've seen of the GX mirrors, it actually does appear that they might fit, however, the length of the wiring is too short, and I have no idea about the plug.
I'd love to have the Titanium color-keyed mirrors for my SR5, but there are several other mods to do before that. I added the factory, heated, mirror glass to my mirrors already. I still have to get rid of my 17" 5-spoke rims for some 17" Sport rims before the painted mirrors mod can even happen for me.

I haven't done a write-up on it yet, but once it gets a bit warmer here (the weekend looks nice) I intend on getting one out to include pics. It was a fairly straight-forward procedure, but I'll explain it as best I can. Hopefully I can get it done for next week, as I'm sure at least some people would like to do this for the winter, not spring.
To start, I bought my mirrors from A/V1 here on the site for $45 including shipping. There is a thread on here for the Muth heated signal mirror install: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9557. I only bought the heated mirror glass and not the entire mirror housing itself. You can get just the glass for around $62 each on parts.com, or go to eBay and spend around $75 for the whole mirror assembly with the housing.
The wiring is in the door already for the heating element in the mirror. If you buy the whole assembly as mentioned above you can just plug it in, but if you buy just the mirror glass (the connections for heat are on the back of the glass itself) you have to splice it in to the existing wiring, but it isn't hard to do. It will make more sense when I do the write-up with pics.
