Lexus NX

Looking at either getting a fully loaded RAV4 but have recently contemplated checking out the Lexus NX instead. This will be the wife's new DD, both get great safety ratings which is our primary concern. Looks like
They should do well in the weather here, from what I understand it's the same platform. Just wondering if the extra cash for the Lexus. Just wondering if anyone has any input.

How much extra? Lexus after sales service is pretty amazing compared to Toyota.

Might be the same platform -- But do you know the NX is turbocharged? First lexus vehicle as such

I've driven a 2014/2015 RAV4. Honestly,I hate it. The new Lexus NX (same platform but different drivetrain) is absolutely gorgeous. The interior is full luxury/sporty....................................................... but that's my opinion. My family has been driving Lexus since 1991 so I have experience with them.

Anyway, yes, go to the dealer and check it out. The NX is LEAGUES better than the RAV. Of course, its cost more, but it is what it is.

If I had the $$, I'd get one now for my wife.

So I test drove the Lexus for the afternoon, local dealer gave me the RAV4 Limited for the day while my under coat was being applied on the 4Runner. Loved the Lexus, honestly I wish I would have never have test drove it because it makes me wish we would have traded our old Limited instead..........almost. Only downer, the lease was just out of what we want to pay. Oddly enough we are getting a great deal on a fully loaded 6 cylinder 2016 Outback, ends up being on par with what they wanted for that RAV4. Which I don't have great things to say.
