License Plate black out??

Hey Guys,

Just wondering why some of you guys black out your LIC# when posting pics? Should I be doing the same??

i dont do it on mine since my tag is personalized. i mean i do pay extra for people to know its me so why would i block it? some people think its safer not giving out your license plate number, but people see it everyday while you drive so i usually dont worry about it.

yeah it's not the people on the road you gotta watch for it's some dill hole on the internet with something against you, you have to watch out for, personally i don't start crap or even get involved with anything, but if someone wanted to they could figure out who you are where you live and such from it, i don't care about that sort of thing but others do.....i'm with the guy above me, who cares?!

Occasionally you will find threads that have multiple pics of the same car and the owner has blacked out the plate in all but one pic.... It's kind of amusing

lol yea i remeber this guy on yotatech, forgot his username, posted like a billion pictures of his 4runner. all the plates were blurred but like 2. kinda ruins the effect.

I never have whenever i post pictures. i figure the same as most people, anyone can drive by and see it any day of the week, so who cares?
