License Plate Bulbs don't come on

My bulbs were out on my license plate so I got some LED bulbs. After putting them in they don't light up when I have my vehicle running and the lights on. Any suggestions as to what it might be?

I'm not sure if there's a fuse for that or not, but that'd be the first thing I checked.

Did you try them in the sockets both ways? If not, there is a 1 in 4 chance you put them both in wrong (assuming the fuse is ok).

Yup. Check the polarity of the 194's.. almost always is the right answer. Or the actual bulb might have a broken connection with the socket portion, pretty common in these led 194 bulbs.

Well I checked the fuses and they're fine. I switched the bulbs around and got the left side working however the right still doesn't. I've changed the bulbs with two others and still nothing.... Maybe a wiring issue or could the socket be not working?

I switched mine out to LED's and had to fight and fight to get them to work. Just keep switching them around, they'll eventually work. It's just a polarity thing. Also, making sure there isn't any dirt or debris where they plug in. Can cause a bad connection.
