Getting ready for a long trip and checking everything over yesterday revealed both license plate lights out. Good gasket seal probably lets them get pretty hot.
Anyway I figure they lasted at least 6 years based on my last inspection.
4 screws, pull out bulbs, easy fix.
Got 'em at Pep Boys - $4.98
exact same thing, same brand, same packaging (pair of 168LL's) is at WalMart for $1.98
I know where to shop from now on.
