Lifetime Alignment Deal

My local tire shop offered a lifetime alignment deal when fitting my new BFG KM2's. Apparently my alignment was way out.....I expected that as I had just installed the Toytec Ultimate Lift.

My question is for those that off road a lot.....how often do you knock the alignment out? Also if I was to add weight and adjust the coil over height would that take it out of alignment?

Deal was $120 on top of the alignment charge I paid today.

Carefull with the lifetime alignemts... I've read a lot of complaints from people saying their as bad as extended warranties where they find any excuse not to honor it.

I've never had to do an alignment in my previous two Toyota trucks, and only did it recently since I changed the stance from lifting the front with Bilstein 5100's. If you plan to do a lot of changes to your suspension though, it might be worth it.

Do you think a few turns on my coilovers would put the alignment out?

I had a Firestone's Lifetime Alignment on my 08 Tacoma, paid for itself after two trips. Although adjusting the coils a couple turns will most likely not alter too much, still always a good decision to get an alignment.

If your steering wheel is centered still after the height adjustment, I wouldn't worry about getting an alignment right away, since the coils will still eventually settle a little. But if your steering wheel is too far off center like it has happened to me than I'd get an alignment. I hate un-centered steering wheels.
