Lift and Gearing Question

First of all I would like to say hi to everyone as I am pretty new here and just starting my project. I have a 97 limited and would like to go to 35s. I dont see a lot of guys talking about gearing here. What gear ratio do I need to run to roll on 35s? Im assuming there are many guys running on stock gearing? I'm planing on going air locker for both front and rear so I dont mind spening a little more and getting the right gearing in there. Also how much lift do I need to squeeze the 35s in? I will not be worried about a ton of articulation as this is going to be mostly an expedition rig. With that in mind I dont want fenders flying off either when I hit a bump. lol I am just looking for the least expensive way on the lift without it being ghetto rigged. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking for the appropriate set up so if any of you that are reading this has a complete setup for sale or part of one let me know Im in the market. 5.29s. You will need to tub your firewall and other trimming. No lift needed. Good idea to do 3in suspension and 2 inbody

4.88 or 5.29 depends on your driving.
I'd do a 1-1/2" body 3" suspension. Going to need a bfh and some cutting of pinch welds.

This will help you with the fitting of the 35s.

As far as gearing, as said, either 4.88s or 5.29.

I do alot of Highway driving, as does my brother, and we both have 4.88s and dont have to worry about "finding" a gear while driving down the road.

With 4.88s, you can comfortably run up to a 37" tire with no noticable problems.

Just get this from Dakota Digital, and you'll be able to calibrate your speedo depending on what ever tires you get.
