So I just purchased my 2006 4Runner Limited Shadow Mica last week and I want to "Man" it up. The First order of business as I can see it is to get new tires to replace the boring factory ones. After looking over the site it seems the Cooper Discoverer STTs would be a good choice. I also want to give it the 3"/2" lift that looks sweet and seems to be pretty popular.
I am trying to figure out what is the best way to lift my truck. What are the pros and cons to coilovers, versus Spacers and whatever other options there are?
Not really going to do a ton of off roading but want the lifted look more for city driving and skiing with the occasional trail driving.
I know that this has been brought up in other posts but some of them are pretty dated. Are the Coopers still the best tires? Is the Cornfed 3"/2" set up a good one? Do I need the a wheelspacer like the Spidertrax one? How much should the lift cost installed by a reputable dealer?
Any reccomendations for a shop in Seattle that can do the work?
