Lift any one?

Just bought a 2001 SR5. I'm curious about lift kits. Nothing too wild or extreme. I'm thinking maybe 2inches at most. Any ideas? Parts houses? Etc.

You can check Downey (they have a 2" lift) and I believe OME (Old Man Emu) makes a lift for your 01.

Do a search here and on yotatech and you'll find lots of info since there's several options for 3rd gens from spacers to shock and coil kits.

If you want cheap then just do a swap of a set of '99 coils will give you back the inch or two that the '01+ lost.

Yeah, I don't want to go the spacer route. I'll need to do more research. The 99 coils idea sounds pretty good, although it's only 1 inch.

'99 coils are about 1" taller than the 96-98's while your 01-02's are about 1" shorter than the 96-98's. I would bet the 99 coils would give you closer to 2" of lift.

I just put a DayStar 2.5" suspenion lift on my '97 SR5. I love it. It is just what I was looking for. I ordered it from www.performanceproducts.com. Check it out, I think it will fit your needs.
