Ok so I had a 4th gen for a 6 years or so then Went to 5th Gen Trail which got lifted got I sick of my payment and got another 4th gen A 03 limited Been doing some reading I know it has xreas up front cause I can see the lines bolted to the strut and the rear is just springs no bags. I am thinking 2.5 toytec spacer up front and 1.5 in the rear. so where is the proper disconnection point for the xreas so the strut can be pulled? Or if I go OME what to pull and whats ok to leave? I did search but there is just so much on xreas it makes it hard to read through a couple hundred posts to find the info thanks

The XREAS is both front and back... the left-front is connected to the right-rear and the right-front is connected to the left-rear. The lines, from the front shocks, cross to the opposite side near the firewall and then run down the outside of the frame rails (you can see the "valve" mounted about midway down the frame rails) to the rear shocks. If I were taking out my XREAS, I would remove all of the components including the lines. I've read that it all comes out relatively easily, but some have also just removed the shocks and left the lines in place. I wish I had some more detailed info for you, but others that have done it should chime in with tips.

It does come out easy. I would recommend replacing the shocks also, go with an OME or Icon, you will be super happy. If you are not going to load it up with a ton of gear, the Toytec super flex springs for the back are a great option.
