Installed a lift on my truck a few weeks ago. Got used to the significantly stiffer ride but all is good now. Here are the essentials, 1999 SR5, ARB Bumper, 882 Front 890 Rear. The truck has a very distinctive negative rake which I don't really mind but wouldn't mind it being level at the same time. Are trim packers going to be enough to level out the truck? Or am I seeing this is why we put the LC coils in the rear? :bigok:

yeah, my LC coils in the rear are a nice ride, not harsh, but a firm truck-like feel. If you tow a lot or carry a lot of weight, ome makes heavy duty coils that are the same length as stock LC coils that support extra weight (kind of like the 882's but they are specific to the LC). I forgot which coils they are but you can google and find them.

The OME 861 is the heavier duty stock height LC coil.

I guess my question would be what do you have in the front. OME 882s are designed for extremely heavy applications. If you have no winch and heavy bumper up there, then they are a poor match for your truck. The 881s are designed for a little lighter application and are a better match for your rear 890s. The problem isn't with your rear springs being too short, its that your front springs are too long.
You also, as noted earlier, must wait for the settling period. You will settle in a bit, so don't worry too much about it until after you have banged it around for a month or two (I mean load test it, right?).

If you are installing bumper with winch get Heavy load OME 882 and Heavy load OME 861 for LC. This will match on heavy load. Not mine... OME COIL SPRINGS

Thanks for the input guys, I have an ARB and will be installing a winch soon after. That is why I went with the 882's. I'm looking to level it out with the LC coils. I think i'm going to go with some OEM LC coils but i'll wait to see if it settles out anymore. I heard in this post that the OE LC's offer a nice soft ride which I like. I don't have the truck loaded in the back a lot other than off road excursions or outings on weekends. A plush ride would be fantastic.
