Lift Jack

I was wondering what kind of lift jack I should buy for my 4Runner. Stock one is good, but only when you are on the way somewhere. For in garage works I think Lift Jack is better, plus it may lift all front or rear, not only one wheel. My V6 Limited is 2500kg - 5500lbs. I've seen Lift Jacks for 2, 2-1/4 and 2-1/2 tons.

I'm happy with my craftsman 3-ton floor jack. Sears Model No. 50143

The lifting range is pretty good: 6 - 21 in. Just make sure you follow the instructions on your first use. Also, some nice 3-ton jack stands and wheel chocks will help you in your diy needs.
