lift kit quesion

planning on getting a lift kit but wanted to know why it is a 3' lift front and only a 2' lift for the rear?
Should it be 3 and 3 to make it even?
Also given that I do carry item in the rear I would think it will be lower then the front to start with

some people try to reduce the perception of a downward sloping front nose by using unequal spacers.

Personally, I used the same size front and rear and find the running board to still be parallel to the ground. I think the rest is just perception.

Check out my measurements I posted HERE. Mine had a 1 1/4" rake from back to front prior to the lift (when measured from the bottom of the running boards). After the lift was installed it dropped to 1/2" of rake back to front. It looked nose down before the lift and after it sits more level. With the 3/2 lift installed it will not look nose high. I have loaded my cargo area since installing the lift and it has yet to lower the rear enough to look nose high. Now I'm sure with enough weight in the back the rear would sag and it would look nose high just like if you didnt have a lift.

By searching on here you will see all these issues have been discussed repeatedly...

Cornfed can custom make any spacer size you want. The rear spacers that go on the 4th gen can be any size you want them to be, though I'd stay below 3" (and I dont even know if Cornfed would make one bigger than 2"). The rear spacer is not a "top plate spacer" like the one that goes in the front suspension. As far a wanting it to be as even as possible, an 1 1/4" rake sure didn't seem even to me, which is why I chose a 3/2 lift and it gave me 1/2" of rake which is alot more even.

In the past years these spacer lifts have been made for the 4th gen 4Runner I have not read anywhere about someones springs sagging. Not saying it wont happen but I have not seen it discussed on here. Why would you think just the rear would sag and not the front as well?

Im sure both F&R will sag but just wanted to know if it was going to be even when installed.
I will hit up a search as well but wanted to ask in case of any updates to lift kits.
