Lift kit

Ok so i just recently purchased a 1990 toyota 4runner 4x4 automatic. I was looking on the internet for some lift kits and ever site i go to says that it only fits models with manual transmission. Why is that do i have to buy a kit or is it just not possible. Also if you know of any internet sites where i can buy body lifts for this can you please let me know.

As far as I know, 4crawler might just be the only guy on the net selling body lifts for auto transmission equipped vehicles...

Non of the manufacturers want to deal with the auto trans linkage, liability issues I guess.
4crawler does have an adapter for the linkage.
