Lift leveling

Hello everyone!!
I recently bought my 98 T4R, 4x4,SR5,3.4L V6,. I also jut installed the OME 881 with the additional 1' coil plates and stock struts in the front. In the rear I installed the LC coils with standard LC shocks. After installation, I noticed that the front is a little bit lower than the rear. I accidently bought the 8 wrap LC coils which provide a 4'' lift. In the front is the 3'' lift. My question is: What is the best option to level the front with rear? Add another 1'' coil plate? Body lift? I will much appreciate anyone suggestions!!!

maybe add a new rear (heavyer bumper) and that might bring it down to keep the ride smooth.

but I am a newbie.

no body lift cause that will just lift your body all the way around not just the front

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do. Hopefully the rear will settle down some. The front you could go higher but its not advised, as you'll be stressing out the front end components (ball joints, tie rod and CV).

So adding another coil plate would be too much stress, What about adding a body lift only in the front? Will that work?

Post a pic of your rig with a side profile shot....it may give us a better idea of what you're dealing with man.......

Never ever put a body lift on only 1/2 the vehicle. You don't want to put any more spacers in the front either, like Bajarunner said. Live with the rake or swap your 8 wraps for 7 wraps in the back. Your front isn't going to sit level with LC 8 wraps with a coil/shock lift without giving you CV problems.

Next mod: Running board removal. Free and makes it look so much better. A snorkel is a big project so maybe start with the small stuff like painting wheels and emblems. Really all depends on how much money and what you want to do with it.

It looks good and they will settle a little more in the back.

Remove running boards

I Have never owned a 4runner until Jan 2011. I bought a '97 sr5. Stock with 105k miles. Good vehicle so far. I had it for less than a week and pulled the running boards off. Looks so much better. Q, did you have to extend rear brake lines for your lift? Did you have to do diff. drop in the front? I want to lift mine, but I am not sure what lift to get or how much work it would be. I would like to do the work myself.. any advice?

Have you thought about Spidertrax wheel spacers? Push those big tires out about 1.25 inches? I've always thought that looks cool.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. My lower right sticker says "No free rides, Gas or A$$" (runnyrunnerton). I found it online and had to have it. lol. I have thought about the wheel spacers, and definitely need to buy some. On sharp turns tires rub on the inside.
I'm going to have to think about removing the runningboards jejeje.

(Viking97SR5). I did do the differential drop from toytec and NO I did not redo the brake lines. I got my lift from: Front 881 OME @ toyteclifts.com and in the rear I bought landcruiser 8 wrap coils with standard landcrusier shocks from cruiserparts.net.

I personally like the stance! I don't know, if you really don't like the rake, you can get some adjustable bilsteins, but you don't want the front too high, you might have issues with your CV axles.......
