I am super new to the T4R world so forgive me for the abundance of questions...I just really love my ride and don't want to screw it up by doing something wrong.
I have read a ton of posts on lifting my 3rd gen (01 SR5 to be exact) and I still have a few questions mostly regarding part numbers because I do not want to end up with the wrong stuff.
so I read the lifting 3rd gen information and FAQ's post and it says to use the following part numbers for the Tundra struts and springs
The front spring and shock from the 2000-06 Tundra TRD can be used to lift the front of the 4Runner. The part numbers and color codes are:
Driver side - 48131-AF100 Yellow/Yellow
Passenger side - 48131-AF090 Yellow/Blue
but when I look them up online to buy them it always shows the spring only...
My first question is what strut should I buy or what part should I look up for complete strut assembly?
second question...
it says to use FRONT springs from a FJ80 (1991-1997)
I want to use the 8 wrap
Does anyone know the part number? and what shocks should I use or maybe question is what style shock should I use.
third question I only have a 2wd 3rd gen...are there any other parts I need to make this work.
