if you want to lift the rear you can use spacers but what if you want to lift the front too, do you adjust the struts or the coil. ps: still a newbie :police:

since im asking dumb questions, do the fogs lights on 98 work i only see the hi and lo beam switch.

ps: did the deckplate mod today sounds like a beast, got the window vent and cargo cover too will post pics tomorrow. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Are the fog lights wired to come on with either the low or high beams?

You can lift only the rear, but it might look funny. Spacers can be used on both the rear coils and above the front struts. Or you can replace the coils on both the rear and front. It's your choice.

I have a switch on the dash towards the passenger door for the fogs on my '98. They have not worked since I bought the truck, but the problem is the relay that is located on the drivers fender behind the battery. It is all rusted and not functioning. I just have not bought a new relay yet.

There are adjustable front shocks available like the Bilsteins, but your stock shocks aren't adjustable. You can run spacers in the front and the back. I have my old 2.5" spacer lift still, PM me if you're interested.

stock switch for the stock fog's is on my head light arm, not a switch but more of a knob on the arm on the right side of the steering wheel, you rotate it forward to turn on the stock fog lights, in a '99

the switch you see there is the 3rd gen factory fog light switch and could have been used in the earlier years in one of the knock out locations to control the stock fog lights.

so either look on the arm or right there for a switch
