Lift/Spacers question

I'm getting my new tires put on the Runner today and they called because the front tires are rubbing a bit on the frame. They said probably a .5 wheel spacer would help. Also, the alignment should help a little too hopefully. I have a 2.5" suspension lift that was just put on last weekend.

Anyways, I can't find any spacers and I'm just wondering if I actually need them. The tire size is 285/75/16 that is being put on along with the lift.

its not gonna hurt the frame @ all and if u don't mind the rubbing u don't really need the spacers

Rubbing can't be good for tire.

Almost everyone running 285's have at least 3" of lift also.

I've never seen 1/2" wheel spacers before. 1" is usually the smallest. The tires will only rub when the steering is at full lock so I would suggest driving around for a few days and see how you feel about it. Many people just live with. It wont do any major damage to the tread.

its not really that bad just annoying to hear it on a tight lock of the wheels one way or the other it may put a small mark on the edge of the tire but nothing that will blow the tire. i have a 3" spacer lift in front and my 285 bfg's rub on a lock but there hitting the back of the fender. i go wheeling and on the beach it doesnt hurt it just makes a little mark.

The tires don't rub on the fender, they rub on the frame. Its not really that bad and I have to be turning really sharp for it to rub. I haven't noticed any big marks yet but they haven't been on for a full day yet.

285/75/16

I have 33" Toyo MT on my 3rd gen for one year now. Drove it to Raush Creek Off Road Park 8hrs from Canada rides great. Rubbing a bit on the back frame on full turn, not a big deal. Post some pic.

Update:After i change all the bushings in lower A-arm i got the right alignment and no more rubbing on full turn.
