Does anyone know where to get a strut for a 4R that is lifted with spacers?

The mcpherson strut that has the coil spring on it. I need a longer strut to accomodate the extra lift.

The 4Runner doesn't have struts.

They are coil-over shocks. :

Basically, McPherson Struts are an integral part of the front and/or rear suspension of the vehicle. The strut assembly provides the upper suspension and wheel turning support. It is an integral part of the suspension geometry and directly affects the vehicle tracking.

Shock absorbers are installed inside or near the coil spring, leaf spring or torsion bar. They are not an integral part of the suspension system and as such do not affect vehicle alignment.

It says that they are for lifted applications. I did some research, but I can not find any more information on them anywhere else on the net.

I should add that coil-over shocks are sort of an exception to the rule, and can also be considered an integral part of the suspension.

Because they incorporate the coil spring, which supports a portion of the vehicle weight.

Since it is lifted with spacers, if you care about comfort, just get new stock shocks... You don't need any extended length ones or anything unless you plan on ditching the spacers for some coil springs...

What spacers are they anyways? Daystar? Cornfed? ToyTec? Just check out the manufacturers site and see what they recommend... Most spacers are made to be used with the factory shocks.
