All,

I have been an official member for about a month or so, but ghosting the site for almost a year; this is a great site with a wealth of information and some really cool people. I just got back from Discount Tire with my new KM2s after doing a lift this past weekend. Sorry for the crappy night time pics, but I was too excited to wait...

Thanks and enjoy

Lookin' Sharp! How's the overall fell of those tires? Road noise, handling, etc.? Also, how do you like ToyTec's own CO's?

Thanks, the Toytec's are awesome. Really made me realise how crappy the XREAS system was. After only 3 days of driving on the new C/Os I can totally feel the road...

Love the KM2s, I litterally just got them so I can't say too much right now, but for the 10 min drive home, I could only notice the change of new rubber on the road; got 51K out of the stock dunfloppies

looks awesome... I also have the toytec coil-overs and LOVE them..

So did you do a BodyLift ?
Any trimming ?
Are you running wheel spacers ?
How bad if any rubbing ?
Could you get some daytime pics ?
Again lookin freakin sweet.
:bigok:

Those tires are 285/70/17?

That lift must be a lot more than a 3/2 to have that much space on 285's left in the wheel wells...

Could be the driveway, angle, etc. Get some pics up tomorrow in the daylight so we can see. :bigok:

Also, can you get a picture from the side of the whole truck at once

Thanks-

So did you do a BodyLift ? - No

Any trimming ? Took off a bit of the lower linning of the inside bumper, and that's it.

Are you running wheel spacers ? - Looking into some spidertrax right now

How bad if any rubbing ? - Got about 3/8" worth of rubbing at full turn on the UCA, otherwise everything clears

Could you get some daytime pics ? - coming shortly
Again lookin freakin sweet.

Pritch: It's the toytec ultimate 3" pacakge straight out of the box; with the tires are the ONLY mods to date.

Pritch: Daytime pics coming shortly, driveway angle is pretty steep will take new photos on level ground

Also, can you get a picture from the side of the whole truck at once

Pritch: can do

If you don't mine me ask''How much out the door installed?

Can't say these tires are cheap, but with the full replacement warrenty install, fed taxes, etc it was $1300. I probably could have saved a little if I ordered them online, but I wasn't really sure which aspect ratio of a 32" was going to work so I just got them direct from Discount Tire - easy.

wooow, thats REAL nice.. :bigok: so where and just how much trimming did you do ?

Thats such a nice set-up, your where I want to be, Ive got the toytec coil-overs, same wheels, and want to go with 285s
Please let me know about the trimming.

Pritch,
looks great! I'm looking forward to your feedback on the KM2' on-road noise and off-road traction and durability.

Ric,

Really not much trimming. The plastic bumper liner on the inside of the front wheel wells has these tits that stick down and jet out a little bit. There is nothing behind this liner so I had them cut off that's it. Took them about 25 mins to balance and mount the whole set!

There is rubbing on the UCA as I mentioned above, but just ordered some Spidertrax to solve that. Would rather not do wheel spacers in general, but it's money well spent to not hear the wife complain about the sound when making a full radius turn - LOL!

Yeah after all the research on tires, I don't think there's a better set out there - we all have our preferences though: I'm a BFG guy always had great experiences. It has been raining here in the Bay Area since I've had them on and not one issue with any wet weather traction on-raod. Heading out to Hollister on Sunday to see what trouble I can cause in, what is now probably difficult terrain, will give a full report and some more pics.

I know Sn0wrunner has had them a while and can probably give us all some good reviews.

I too just bought a 3" lift from Toytec for my 05 Sport and can't wait to get it on! I am ALSO buying BFG's too! You just got me super amped to get my lift on and buy these tires. Stuck between the mud terrain and all terrain. And need to save a little more money for the tires.

Looks AWESOME man! :bigok:

Doug

Not to sound like a broken record :D but that's where I want to be too!!! Having a heck of a time finding someone to do the lift for me though...that and I have 265/70/17 BFG AT's...looks great man!
