lift with air bags?

im interested in lifting my 99 limited 4x4. i currently have the air lift 1000 springs in the rear. i would like to find a lift where i could continue to use them. they really help when i tow my atvs. would like some advice if anyone has done this before or a lift that would help with my towing. i like how these keep the truck sitting level with even a heavy load. im afraid that if i lift the truck the air bags would be to short.

I did the same thing on my old Trooper. I just placed a much thicker spacer than Airlift supplied with the kit. I took 'Trex' (plastic decking material for a house or dock) and cut some circles then glued them together. Once it dried I drilled a hole in the center for the air line and replaced the factory spacer; it worked great. I had added almost 2" in the back via OME 929 HD springs on my old Trooper. I drove over 80k in that configuration and never had a problem. BTW, I used Liquid Nails to glue the spacer to the bottom spring mount. Yeh, I know, pretty Mickey Mouse but it got the job done

I don't know if that directly applies to a 3rd gen T4R but I would think it does. Good luck!
