Lift without Bigger Tires

Hi,

I am looking at the daystar 3/2 lift for my 4runner w/xreas. I currently have toyo 285-60-17 tires on it, pretty new. Will the lift look weird or ok? Just curious on opinions. Thanks.

don't know about the functionality/safety of it.. but it'll look funny.... like a big guy with skinny legs...

Duc just lifted his a bit higher with stock rim/tires. It looks a little off, but its all up to the owner. I think the 265/70/17 would really fill up the wheel wells.

Your 285/60/17 is slightly smaller than the stock tires (not much). The Daystar kit is not as high as the NE kit, by more than an inch. SO it will not look as bad, but your tires will still be small. You might want to upgrade your tires (trade up) to 285/65/17, whichwill fill the wells nicely.

here is a link to picks of mine with the Daystar lift and stock DUnlop tires, this will giv you an idea what it will look like with the Daystar kit.
