Lifted 3rd Gen Recommended Alignment Specs?

Calling all lifted 3rd gen owners: what alignment specs do you recommend that have worked best for you?

Short backstory: I recently swapped out my spacer lift for some OME 882s, so I need an alignment. I just called and scheduled an appointment for this weekend. I know that the stock specs won't always work properly for a lifted truck, so my question is, what specs do you guys recommend?

this may not help but that bumper looks too heavy may give you some unwanted -/+ camber wear so just go ahead and send to me and all will be ok. PS free shipping please:-) sorry had too

I believe toytec and sonoran steel recommend 0 degrees camber and .04 toe (0.2 on each side) without aftermarket uca your alignment shop might have difficulty getting the toe dead on. Not a big deal though since .02 toe is basically straight.

:brick: Haha it's always worth a shot I guess.

The specs are no different than for a non lifted runner. The issue you may run into with the stock upper control arms is getting the caster back.

Thanks for the info. New UCA's are definitely on the mod list, just probably not anytime soon...

what alignment specs did you end up with, and how has that worked out for you now over the past 6 months?

Bump for answer?

As correctly stated by a previous poster, the specs don't change just because you get a lift. The specs my truck was aligned with are as follows:

Toe / 0 to .20 degrees
Camber / -.6 to .9 degrees
Caster / 1.7 to 3.2 degrees

You want you're left and right camber and caster readings to be within .5 degrees of one another side to side.

When you lift, your alignment angles change. Caster is the angle that is unrecoverable with stock UCAs. The higher you go the more caster you lose. Camber can be somewhat of a problem also because it is changed with the same adjuster that adjusts caster. Usually after adjusting camber, (it's more important to get within spec because it's more of a tire wearing angle than caster) you end up with somewhere around .2 to 1.5 degrees of caster. This causes steering wander, bump steer and difficulty of steering to return to center after turning a corner. Hope this helps.
