Lifted Rav4?

Anyone have any information on lifted Rav4s? I'm kind of curious what a little lift and tire combo would do the performance and look of the Rav4. I found a website that sells a 1.25" lift. What's the largest tire that could be run with such a lift? Also, does anyone have any links to lifted Rav4s? I might be interested in downsizing in the future to this vehicle because of better gas mileage. Thanks.

You may have to join a Rav4 forum to get answers to those questions. I doubt many people on here would know. And downgrading from a 4runner to that just to save a few mpgs isn't woth it IMO. Everything else would be a negative IMO.

I don't know much about the performance side of it but the aformentioned lift and tire will definitely improve it's appearance, no doubt...as for any car. To run a much bigger tire package to me still negates your idea of fuel economy which is what you're after..still you will save a lot more compared to the 4Runner...but just because of that? I'm still thinking safety vs a few dollars saved in gas....that's just me, though.
