Liftgate handle replacement

Anyone replaced the piece that has the liftgate handle? I tore mine off last night and I need a new one. Is this easy to do or should I have the Dealership do it?

I just don't want to pay their auto body shop like 400 dollars when i can get the part for 126 dollars! Ya, I wish it was me that ripped it off - I might actually be proud of that, but no, I left the liftgate open and tried to back out of the garage. I was in one of those pissed-off crazed mindsets and forgot to close it. So, Garage 1, liftgate 0. I was lucky it did very minor damage - tore the piece right off the clips so none of the liftgate was bent... Still f*ckin' pissed...

Lucky it wasn't worse. Well how hard can it be to get to that . The biggest pain is working over your head at least for part of it. anyway I havn't had mine apart so can't help there.

Ya, the worst part is I have a bad shoulder impingement right now so I can't raise my left arm above my chin! I can't forsee how I could perform the acrobatics necessary for the surgery on the rear hatch with one arm...

Ok, does someone have the hatch wiring diagram and/or the exploded parts view for disassembly? Looking at the wires left behind I have an open female connector (4-pin if I remember correctly), the two [license plate] light wires, and I pulled the power wires out from the connector to the actuator (there is still about 4 inches of wire leading from the latch handle itself). It was a clean separation and they can be clamped back together but I have no clue where... I am quite confused about the female connector as well... I will snap some pictures tonight if they are necessary. Thanks!
