Lifting a 2022 TRD Off-Road with KDSS or King Suspension

its random. but yes it can. ours has slight lean i only notice in pictures from looking at the bumper and front tires.

I'm seeing that King suspension is an 8-10 month backorder item right now. I would like to find something for the spring.

What is an equivalent (hopefully cheaper) alternative to the King set up with KDSS?

I have a 4Runner ordered with KDSS and I would like to make the off-road into a Pro clone so looking to have a similar lift and stance.

Speaking with Westcott designs, they say I can go with their lift that is 3" front and 1.5" rear and there are no KDSS issues. This seems to be contrary to what I've read.

Is there a cheaper option that is similar quality to the King that allows me to adjust the lift?

I’m doing the same with IMS Dobinsons. 3.5” front and 1.5” rears from Exit off road and Mike didn’t say I would run into issues with the KDSS. But I did get the spacer kit and diff drop

My plan is to level it, 2" in the front and 1 inch in the rear. I believe a TRD Pro sits 1.5" higher in front and .5" higher in back than an off-road?

The TRD PRO sits 1 inch higher in the front and the same rear ride height using the same rear springs(which determine rear ride height) in the rear as the TRD OR.

Sounds like you are just going for looks to match the TRD PRO and not really offroading it or getting super big tires , so complete new suspension is over kill .......unless money is not an object. I'm sure the aftermarket suspension companies would love to sell you a whole new suspension though .

You can put a 1 inch spacer (1/2" spacer gives 1 inch lift) in the front and match the stance of the PRO exactly. Like these ...Toyota 4Runner 1" Front Aluminum Leveling Lift Kit 2003-2019
Even though it says to 2019 ,They fit 22's as the suspension is the same as I just put Icons on my 22 and have lifted many 4runners.

That's what I ran years ago when I bought my first 5th Gen and there was no ride difference from stock and it aligned easily with stock UCA's .

The Pro rims have a bit more offset than the ORP wheels so you might be happy with those without any spacers.

I run bilstein 5100's in mine. 1.75" with a 1" rear spring spacer. They're work fine. It's no King setup tho, that's for sure.

I'd suggest just waiting and getting whta you want (Kings) as opposed to doing something now and then replacing. Buy once, cry once. Defintely true with King.

Does your 4Runner have kdss also? I have kdss and looking to get bilstein lift and people are telling me it won’t work because of my kdss

Who are these "people?"

Lifts work fine with KDSS. Just don't go too high with it.

One thing I have learned is to go with a progressive dampening. I have digressive Eibachs with my KDSS and hate them. Very rough.
