Lifting my 02 4runner

Ive been wanted to lift my 4runner for some time now and I have finally paid it off and fixed what needed fixing so i can start doing real mods. When i bought it, it needed rear shocks BADLY so i threw on some OME n86 comforts in plans of getting OME all the way around down the road. so for the rear im going to get some 891s and keep the N86's. Now the front has been on my mind lately. I really think i want some adjustable CO's so i need some suggestions. I have been doing some research and im noticing that people say if your going to get CO's dont get the toytecs and get SAW, kings or icons instead. Im thinking the SAW 2.0s will fit the bill, what do you think? People are saying they got the 650lb springs, are there different rates you can get? is 650 the best overall? I would love to get a ARB or TJM up there but that wont happen for awhile. What do you guys thing about the OME and SAW shock combo?

Front:
CO's most likely SAW 2.0s
i have a leaky upper ball joint so ill take care of it then, should i do both while im at it?
diff drop kit

Rear
Already have OME shocks in place and air lift 1000
going to get OME 891's
fab up a panhard drop bracket that fits the lift.
do i need rear brake lines?

twitchee I am running the 891s and unless you are loaded up with 200-300 lbs in back I can not in good conscience recommend them to you.

I like the ride-but there are certain road combinations that are jarringly rough. Deep potholes at low speeds are sometimes very abrupt jolts-yet rough railroad tracks at high speeds are just a ripple and I can sail over them with no concern.

The ride is stiff and as noted in sonoran steel website:

they feel the 890 rear spring is the only one worth carrying. I respect their opinion and have to agree this "Prado based" spring is stiff for carrying more weight and not ideal for lift.

Having said all that-I gained a full 3" in ther rear of my 99. I do not honestly know how that translates to your truck

I do think your idea of the coilover setup up front is wise as you can see a lot of the owners have progressed from OME lifts to coilover lifts up front.

There are so many variables at play here. The shocks are part of it-the tire size impacts it-the load on the spring affects it...

I'll try to help you any way I can.

My suggestion is narrow down the combo you want/like/can afford and then poll the members who run that combo. You should notice some common themes.

And I have yet to hear one complaint about Sonoran's advice or service. They charge more-depending on which lift you choose of course...

No I did not get my lift through them-but I have learned as well.

I like mine-but it is not perfect just yet...
