Lifting my 4Runner

I just bought my first 4R and am wondering if there is any performance advantage if i lift it?

Only an offroad advantage. It will hurt it on road.

:iagree: I would also add an expensive, coilover style lift may improve the ride and handling over very rough surfaces. In that sense you might consider a lift giving a 'performance improvement'
