Too funny. Yeah, i knew about the bud builts, already had them on "the list." Didnt know bout lil skips skid though. List just got bigger. From the sounds of it though, maybe all i need is the sticker?

I can sell you my sticker.. kidding. The Lil Skip's skid is very beefy, I highly recommend getting one in addition to the Buds. There nothing like the feeling of being able to bash rocks and not care.

1: Les Schwabb sucks, I cant believe the manager was so little that he coudlnt own their mistake and actually told me they would lift it that way again. Well guess what, no you wont lift it that way again, not mine anyways becuase they will never touch my ride again! their incompetence for a large chain store is baffling, and clearly they can not be trusted to do even the most basic job. That and in a crunch time, they would rather make money then take the time to ensure a job is done properly.

If they are a chain store, I would definitely do a little internet research and find out who the corporate customer service bosses are and write them a friendly little note. Include your photos.

Don't get angry, don't use foul language or threats. Your tone should be one of sadness or regret. It should start off with a dispassionate account of what happened, what you said, what the manager said, and then conclude with something like:

"I am extremely disappointed that an otherwise reputable company like Les Schwab would allow one of its service managers to act in such an unprofessional and incompetent manner. Although I may have avoided serious damage to my vehicle this time, you can rest assured that I will not subject it to such risks again, and will be using another shop for my vehicle service needs from now on.

The automotive service business in Salem is a competitive one and there are a number of other shops in the area that will appreciate my business and will treat me with the respect that a repeat customer deserves."

Sign it with your full name and address and you may want to include a phone number in there as well.

It could be that they just wad it up and throw it in the trash but you never know. I've had great success in writing such letters. The key is to not come off as a crank or a lunatic - that will just give them an excuse to throw it in the round file. If you look like a reasonable and articulate person, it will get noticed.
