Lifting with rear air suspension

The general consensus is there is little you can to do lift the rear of 4Runners with rear air suspension / auto levelling rears.

But was following some links and bumped into this:

Basically looks like a spacer to fit beneath the air bag.

What drawbacks would there be? It's $40, and what would we need to watch out for if we wanted to give it a go?

great find. I just might try that since the question of lifting rear was on my mind since I got my 4runner and discovered that I have rear air and no lift options available

here you go guys, just talked to sales rep and this is install instructions. I think I'll buy 2" kit :frog: and get 3" spacer for a front, it should be pretty close to Cornfed 3/2 lift. Anybody willing to try 6"? :lmao:

not a good news, emailed Air Lift with fitting question and they say:

"They only work with the load leveler 5000 series kits….57000, etc"

so does not look good for 4Runners:nono:

However, the concept looks pretty simple - it's just a spacer on the bottom of the air bag.

I'm wondering a) how hard would it be to fabricate something to fit and b) how to mount it?
