When I had my Gen3 and was looking for a lift, I remember a lot of discussion about the max lift before you started adversely affecting the joints of the IFS. I don't see a lot of that discussion for the Gen4s and have only seen a few people with a diff drop. Based on everything that I've read, it seems that 3" is the safe limit. What do you think?
I'm shopping for lift and am leaning toward the Daystar 2.5/1.5 and keeping the x-reas, but I really liked the OME set-up on my Gen3. Bouncing off the bumpstops in my Gen4 on speed bumps makes me wonder if I'd like the spacer lift with the stock springs.
Thanks!
